Prof. Hilde Nilsen is introduced to The Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters

Prof. Hilde L. Nilsen from the University of Oslo and the Akershus University Hospital, co-founding member of the NO-Age Network, has been introduced to the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters (Det Norske Videnskaps-Akademi/DNVA) on the 12th Oct. 2020 in Oslo, Norway. The Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters, founded in 1857, is a non-governmental, nationwide body which embraces all fields of science. Its main purpose is to support the advancement of science and scholarship in Norway (website here). The other 2 new national members are Profs. James B. Lorens (University of Bergen) and Vessela N. Kristensen (Oslo University Hospital/UIO)

Prof. Hilde L. Nilsen is a leader in the molecular mechanisms of DNA repair and the linkages to cancer, neurodegeneration, and ageing. More on the Nilsen laboratory here. Big Congratulations!
